Create Your Own Organic Perfume and Press Your Own Organic hand-made Soap
This organic course will bring you to a better understanding of the chemicals generally used in soaps and perfumes/aftershaves and encourage you to discover the scents that suit you. You will embark on a fragrant journey, culminating in the creation of natural organic soap and your own individual subtle organic perfume.
Using only the highest quality organic or wild crafted materials, you will learn the methodology of cold process soap making, together with the safety precautions. You will also consider different plant additives and their active ingredients, then take home the skills and recipes, so you can recreate your own organic products.
You will also explore the various ingredients used in perfumes and understand how fragrance affects mood and wellbeing. You will create your own organic perfume using the traditional approach of a blend of light, fleeting top notes, subtle, lingering middle notes and a heavy, lasting base note and take your personalised organic perfume home with you.
You will take away with you not just soap and perfume making skills but also an insight into the benefits of natural organic products that will remain with you long after the holiday is over. They will be a permanent reminder of a unique time spent in an idyllic location in south west France.
